White grape variety

Riesling

Germany is the hometown of Rhine Riesling, Here, Riesling is better than other grape varieties to represent the soil conditions of vineyards. It can be described as a pearl of the german white grape varieties and accounts for about 22% of the whole german grape cultivation area. The harvest time is normally in October or November. The wines taste fresh, delicate, with floral and fruity flavors. It is rich in aromas of peaches, pears, apples, apricots, black currants, mangos and even have smells of petrol, slates, ores and some other strange smells. After aging, the wine will become more harmonious, showing a perfect sense of level.

But it is difficult to plant Riesling. It needs a long and cold climate to form its elegant flavor. Especially after the effect of botrytis, it can be brewed to a shocking sweet wine. The high acidity of the grape itself can counterpoise the high sweet of itself. so it will not make people feel too sweet and greasy and make the wine show a perfect sense of level.
